Job Title: Admissions Officer (Remote – Part-Time)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Admissions Officer to join our team in supporting our partner university. This is a fully remote, part-time position designed for a professional who excels at guiding students through the pivotal transition into higher education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Student Counseling: Provide expert guidance to prospective students regarding program selection, entry requirements, and the application process.

  • Application Management: Review and evaluate student applications, ensuring all documentation meets the university’s rigorous standards.

  • Lead Conversion: Follow up with inquiries via email, phone, and video calls to convert prospective leads into enrolled students.

  • Policy Compliance: Stay up-to-date with the partner university’s admission policies, international visa regulations (if applicable), and scholarship criteria.

  • Data Integrity: Maintain accurate and organized records in the CRM to track the student journey from initial contact to enrollment.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in education counseling, university admissions, or a closely related field.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional and empathetic tone.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Business, or a related field.

  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), video conferencing tools (Zoom/Teams), and Microsoft Office 365.

Application Instructions

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development (B2B & B2C)

  • B2B: Identify and manage a "Tier-1" network of exclusive education consultancies. You will provide them with priority training and ensure the university is their first-choice recommendation.
  • B2C: Design and execute localized marketing campaigns (Meta, TikTok, and local events) to generate high-quality direct leads.

2. Lead Management & Conversion

  • Manage the full "Lead-to-Lodge" funnel, ensuring rapid follow-up and pre-screening of academic/financial eligibility.
  • Audit student applications for "Decision-Ready" status before submission to the university admissions team.

3. Visa & Compliance Expert

  • Documentation: Act as the final auditor for financial documents, ensuring they meet the specific evidentiary requirements for the student visa.
  • VFS Mastery: Navigate VFS Global scheduling and procedures to ensure timely biometric and document submission.
  • NOC Support: Guide students through the Ministry of Education (MoEST) No Objection Certificate (NOC) process.

4. Interview & Genuineness Training

  • Conduct rigorous Visa Interview Simulation sessions to prepare students for embassy scrutiny.
  • Focus on "Genuineness" (GTE/GS) criteria, ensuring students can articulate their study plan and financial background clearly.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience: 2+ years in International Education Recruitment specifically within the Nepal market.
  • Network: Existing high-level relationships with major Nepali education associations (ECAN, FECAN, or IERIN).
  • Knowledge: Deep technical understanding of the VFS Global workflow and MoEST (NOC) digital portal.
  • Skills: Exceptional sales and persuasion skills with a "concierge" approach to student service.
  • Integrity: A proven track record of high visa success rates (low rejection history).
