Getting Started

Creating a JobGara widget is simple and takes just a few minutes. Follow this comprehensive guide to set up your first widget and start embedding job listings on your website.

📋 Prerequisites: You need an active JobGara employer account with at least one job posting to create widgets.

1Access Widget Management

Go to your Employer Dashboard
Click on "Widgets" in the main navigation menu
You'll see your widget management panel with existing widgets (if any)

2Create New Widget

Start the widget creation process:

Click the "Create New Widget" button
The widget creation wizard will open in a modal window
You'll see a multi-step form with different configuration options

3Basic Information Setup

Configure the basic settings for your widget:

Required Fields:

Widget Name: Enter a descriptive name (e.g., "Main Website Jobs Widget", "Career Page Widget")
Widget Type: Choose from available options:
- Job List - Display multiple job listings
- Featured Jobs - Highlight important positions
- Company Info - Show company profile
- Search Box - Provide job search functionality
- Complete Profile - Combined company and jobs view
Description: Optional notes about the widget's purpose

4Content Configuration

Set up what content your widget will display:

Job Content Settings:

Maximum Jobs: 1-20 jobs per widget
Job Status Filter: Active only, include expired, or expired only
Job Source: Your company's jobs or all companies

Show/hide salary information
Show/hide posting date
Show/hide apply button

7Create and Get Embed Code

Finalize your widget and get the embed code:

Click "Create Widget" to generate your widget
The system will create a unique widget key
Copy the provided embed code
Save the embed code for use on your website
